Many Reverbs To Cross - Ragana - CD/LP

Covermedium

The drummer & co-founder of Ragana, Marek Piotrowicz says - Dub is something you can not get just by putting the instrumental parts together. It's something that enters your head and brings life to different parts of your body. Its all about space while maintaining the reggae pulse.
The role of the instruments resides in the rhythm section, whilst Jagha, the beautiful songstress from Ragana sings different stories and it is her distinctive voice that lends the melodic element to the album. Like the title suggests, the music is just pure DUB - spacious effects & sounds, which were introduced by dub engineers at Studio As One in Warsaw, Poland.

This is the first polish band in many years to play this kind of dub, old school, analog style. That means that 99 percent of the effects on this album has been recorded in real time, using vintage and modern effect processors - says Jarek "Smok" Smak, the producer and mixing engineer - We had beautiful melodies and plenty of space to use different kinds of dub-mixing machines. It’s sensational!
