Zion Train have just spent a most lovely holiday weekend playing shows in the UK for the first time in 2004.
Wednesday saw the band at Camden Underworld in London. The show was populated more with Poles and Italians than Londoners, fantastic vibes and respect to PAMA International for providing support on the night.
Next was the Fiddlers, Bristol, alongside the sounds called Jah Tubby out of East London. Tubs only brought one stack of speakers to the venue but still made the floor shake, most lovely. Always nice to see the Bristol-Ites.
West Wales was the next stop with a performance in the newly kitted out Theatre Mwldan in Cardigan alongside local boys & girls, KALD. It's always a pleasure to party in Wales.
Exeter Phoenix was the final stop of this most enjoyable weekend. Zion Train have played there many times before to a rapturous reception and Saturday was no exception.
One love to all those who attended and rocked with us.
The new releases on the Deep root label – 'Sufferin' by Sis Sanae and 'Cross The Border' are now available.
Finally released this week on the Deep Root 7" imprint are two cuts of the 'Sufferin' rhythm with Dubdadda and Sis Sanae as featured vocalists. E-mail perch@wobblyweb.com for further details.
Perch and Dubdadda were in action playing the Iration Steppas in soundclash in Chapletown Caribbean centre, Leeds, UK on 1st May. What a session - new dubplate flying from every corner, a special mention must go out to the new Vibronics dubplates and Deep Root material played by Perch on prerelease dubplate - killer.
'Dubliftment', the new Vibronics long player on Universal Egg has already received great critical acclaim, the next releases from this stable are two Deep Root 7"s on the 'Suffering' rhythm and feature vocalists Sis Sanae and Dubdadda.

Zion Train have had a lovely stoned weekend in Holland playing Utrecht, the magnificent Vera in Groningen, Amsterdam's Melkweg and VK in Brussels - many thanks to all those who participated.
Zion Train have just returned from a short tour of the Netherlands and Belgium. As usual in these much visited territories for Zion Train the crowds were very receptive if a little narcotically affected. Due to the botanical skills of our Dutch brethren and sistren however, the band were definitely as 'out there' as the punters.
A first visit to Tivoli De Helling, Utrecht, was followed by a return to the ever-brilliant Vera in Groningen and the equally outstanding Melkweg, Amsterdam – enough said. This was followed by a return to VK in Brussels, a great venue run by a very friendly crew, many thanks to all.
Zion Train's next live shows are in the UK in May…
Released next week on the Universal Egg imprint is 'Dubliftment' by Vibronics. This album showcases beautifully the ever-improving production talents of Mr Vibronics and is an excellent follow up to the success of 'Dub Italiser' released two years ago on Universal Egg.

We just love Poland

Zion Train have just returned from an amazing 6 date sell–out tour of Poland. Greatest respects and thanks to all those who attended and participated. Special mention to the Joint Venture massive and baby Susana, born to our Polish sound system colleagues during the visit.
Early in February we visited Moscow for a Bob Marley birthday celebration concert at DK Gorbunova. Many thanks to all those who braved the freezing weather to come and feel the warmth of Zion Train.
